It's been a huge off-season for Major League Roller Hockey and the 2012-13 season will offer additional leagues and options for players of all skill levels including an expanded MLRH $10,000 Pro Division, our new MLRH Elite and AAA Divisions plus a new "Grassroots" league that will bring the excitement of MLRH competition to your local rink.   MLRH "Grassroots" will link every hometown league to establish a National Champion.
Based on the formula that has made our MLRH Pro Division so popular, MLRH Elite will offer the same top-level competition as our pro league without the full-contact and fighting.  While the knock-your-socks-off brand of of roller hockey is a fan favorite ( Games have attracted over 13,000  viewers on Roller Hockey TV), we realize some players prefer the no check game and this league is for you.  The same management team and organization that has established our pro league will bring a high degree of professionalism to this league.

At MLRH, we really don't like the term "Minor league."  We see our new AAA league as a development league offering younger players the opportunity to develop their game against better competion than they will find locally. Additionally, they will be playing side-by-side with our pro players and Elite teams. Best of all, you will be part of the MLRH world-wide community of roller hockey players.

Most roller hockey programs have several leagues based on a player's ability.  Beginning in Fall, 2012, the top league in your program is eligible to compete in the MLRH Grassroots league.  Local winners will meet in regional playoffs leading to a National Champion.  Best of all, it's FREE- with no league or franchise fees.  Players simply join the MLRH Players Assn. at an annual $30 fee to be eligible.

Ask your rink owner or Hockey Director to contact Doug Jones and get all the details on how your local league can participate.   e-mail  And yes, you can form your own league with a minimum of four teams. Outdoor leagues are eligible too.
