The Pennsylvania Inferno completed a "Twofer" in the 2015 MLRH Super League Championships, knocking off the Detroit Phoenix 9-1 to sweep Detroit in the Super League Championship series.  The Inferno won the $10,000 MLRH Pro Tour event in May and now add another MLRH title to their collection.

With the win, the Inferno players each netted $1,250 for their summer spent playing in MLRH.
With the two wins, the Pennsylvania "Kiddie Corps" have established themselves as the premier
premier team in the league.  It would appear that old age has finally caught up with the SC Lobsterz and the Inferno will be the team to beat.

                                              So what's their secret?

For openers, most of this team has been playing together since they were six years old.  "Those kids can find each other with their eyes closed," said Rob Archer, Captain of the Detroit Phoenix.
Another factor is theistyle of play.  "Most of the teams we played this season are made up of ice hockey players.  Many of our guys have only played roller," said Inferno coach Michael Archer.
"They are dump and chase ice hockey guys while we believe in puck movement to set up the play."

What's next for the Super league?

"We need more pro ice guys for  start," said MLRH Presdent Bill Raue.  We need to change the culture of the league.  We need more guys who who know what it is like to ride the buses in the juniors and minor league hockey.  Some of our roller hockey guys can't decide if they want to play hockey Saturday night or go to the movies and that's no way to build a league.  To that end, I have already had a meeting in Toronto with someone that can recruit from the Federal league and Junior hockey."

"The other thing we must do is to start the season in mid-May.  By the time we got to our Championship game, Detroit had lost a couple of their best players who play D1 ice.  They were already back in college.  We also are looking into incorporating European teams.  They would play eight games over a two-week period.  We would gain some great teams that would be a gate attraction and the European players would have the opportunity to see America."
